Vincent Kompany is hoping for good news from Bayern Munich’s medical team following Jamal Musiala latest injury update

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany is hopeful Jamal Musiala will not suffer another serious injury setback after the 22-year-old midfielder played just 25 minutes in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Boca Juniors.
Musiala came on as a substitute for Serge Gnabry in the 57th minute สนใจสมัคร? คลิกที่นี่เพื่อเริ่มต้น before being withdrawn in the 82nd minute after suffering a right calf injury, with Bayern boss Kompany expecting the injury to be minor but still needing to speak to the medical team.
‘I want to talk to the doctor first,’ Kompany said. ‘We’ll fly to Orlando first and then we’ll see.’
‘I hope it’s nothing serious. I feel quite relaxed now, although I don’t know what the doctor will say yet.’
After the final whistle, Musiala still joined his team-mates in celebrating with the Bayern fans in the stands. Broadcaster Sky later said on Saturday that the injury would be easy to overcome.
Musiala had been sidelined for two months ahead of the Club World Cup.
Bayern Munich will face Benfica in their final group game in Charlotte on Tuesday to decide the winner of Group C.
